1. The map below shows the snow area with the storm coming on through. I am concerned that the severe weather could be nasty across parts of the Ohio Valley this afternoon into tonight. The dew points are coming up and the jet that is coming on through is quite strong. There will also be plenty of shear for the storms to rotate.
2. In the snow areas, there can be a few areas of 8 inches, especially where the thunderstorms get going and plow into the cold air. We may see that across parts of Michigan.
